On a motion by Fred Fantini, seconded by Ruth Lewis the minutes of April 5, 2005 were unanimously approved.
2.      Discussion with Department Heads on Needs Assessment
Members of the ITAC discussed with the department heads the need to review the information technology used by the town departments and the general format for putting together a Needs Assessment for the community. A general discussion occurred about some of the issues faced by the town departments in dealing with technology in the workplace.
Members of ITAC will meet individually with the department heads to talk about their technological capabilities and future needs during the months of December and January.  Department heads will be preparing information for submittal to the Town Manager by November 18, 2005 to set the framework for those meetings.

3.      Update on Website development and Web Content Manager
The prototype of the new website is currently being reviewed and the backend documents are being prepared.  Interviews for the Web Content Manager took place last week and a finalist has been forwarded to the Town Manager for interview.  It is hoped that the individual will be working by December.
4.      Other business, next meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for December 8, 2005 at 6 PM. The meeting adjourned at 7:20 PM.
