ARLINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES
MARCH 6, 2003
Mr. Stevens called the meeting to order at 8:30pm at the second floor conference room of the Town Hall Annex. Present were Nathaniel Stevens, David White, Timothy Sullivan, Christine Wallace and Judith Hodges of the Commission. Catherine Garnett was on vacation. Mike Wilson of Westmoreland Ave attended and is considering applying to join the Commission. Alan McClellan, Director of Planning and John Maher, Town Council were present to discuss the work at Pierce Field.
8:30pm MISCELLANEOUS –
White/Hodges motioned to approve the 2/27/03 minutes with minor edits; motion passed unanimously.
The Commission shared what they learned at the MACC annual conference on 3/1/03.
Ms. Beckwith conducted a site walk to 71 Spy Pond Lane for a porch replacement next to Spy Pond. The Commission agreed that this would require the filing of a Request for Determination of Applicability.
The members of the Commission will meet on either 3/12 or 3/14 to organize for the Land Stewards Meeting on 3/19
The Commission voted to convene at approximately 10pm.
