Meeting Minutes 02-05-04
ARLINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES

FEBRUARY 5, 2004

Mr. Stevens called the meeting to order at 7:30pm in the second floor conference room of the Town Hall Annex.  Present were Nathaniel Stevens, David White, Judith Hodges, Ellen Reed, Catherine Garnett, and Timothy Sullivan of the Commission.  Tami and Gary Kalajian of 22 Nourse St were also present.

7:30pm  - COMMISSION BUSINESS

White/Reed motioned to approve the 1/22/04 minutes; motion passed unanimously.

The Commission drafted a flyer for Arlington Land Stewards meeting to be held on 3/22/04.

Enforcements:
339 Mystic St. - Include note on when to plant trees near water.  Show on a plan from our files.
335 Mystic St. - The Commission will draft a new letter to the owners.
Snow into Noname Brook - Continued
22 Nourse St. - The Commission held a site walk with a consultant for the owners on 02/01/04, Ms. Garnett, Ms. Hodges, Mr. White and Mr. Sullivan attended. The question came up whether the brook existed before the railroad was constructed.  The owners of this property submitted their permit application at this meeting.  The erosion controls are in place.  


The Wetlands/Waterway Zoning map and list of properties for the use of the building department – Ms. Beckwith and Kevin O’Brien have filed the updated Warrant article.

The Spy Pond Park filing is going to be filed soon, the permit extension for the alum treatment in the pond will also be filed soon.

The Commission convened at approximately 9pm.
