ARLINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION
MINUTES

FEBRUARY 3, 2005

Mr. Stevens called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the Town Hall Annex.  Present were Catherine Garnett, Judith Hodges, William O’Rourke, Nathaniel Stevens, and David White of the Commission. Timothy Sullivan and Ellen Reed, of the Commission, were absent.  

7:30 p.m.  - COMMISSION BUSINESS

Ms. Beckwith and Mr. Stevens will meet with a subcommittee of the Finance Committee to discuss our budget.  

The Commission will meet with DPW on 2/9 at 8:45 am to discuss the tree replanting plan at the Arlington Reservoir and the coordination with the new Tree Committee.  Ms. Beckwith will review the wetland replication plan and provide comment.

Ms. Beckwith will attend the meeting on the wetland restoration project in Cambridge at the Muskrat Marsh, on 2/11/05.

O’Rourke/Hodges motioned to approve the 12/16/04 and 1/20/05 minutes with minor edits; motion passed unanimously.

7:45pm   - REVISION OF BYLAW REGULATIONS –

White/O’Rourke motioned to continue this hearing to 2/17/05; motion passed unanimously.

OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS-

The Commission discussed the installation of the fence at 8 Mystic Bank and needed more information from the files to ascertain a course of action.  

Ms. Beckwith will schedule a site walk to 19 Mass Ave, regarding their request for a Certificate of Compliance for the hotel.

The Commission voted to convene at approximately 10p.m.
