During the month of May, D. W. White, contractor for Mass Highway on the Summer Street project, will be performing the following work:
1. Reclaim pavement from approximately Harold Rd to the Lexington Town Line.
2. Install GeoFabric, install sub-drain, install conduit, grade road base, place asphalt base course and binder course.
3. Set lines and grades for curb and sidewalk
4. Install Fences
5. Re-hydroseed areas
Utilities will complete wire transfer from old telephone poles to new poles, Verizon will then remove old poles.
Residents and commuters are reminded that detours will continue and may change depending on the work area. Access to residences, as well as businesses and the skating rink will be allowed at all times.
