Road reconstruction on Highland Avenue, from Massachusetts Avenue to Gray Street. will begin the week of April 22, 2008. The Town has contracted D & R Construction to perform the work, which will include a leveling course of asphalt, new sidewalk, adjustment of curb, and top course of asphalt. The project is estimated to take four weeks.
Residents are advised that parking will be limited during construction. Access to homes and businesses will be provided, although driveway access may be limited. Parking on adjacent streets is suggested, and the Police Department will be notified. Also, sections of the road may be closed during construction, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
