Above is the status of water main flushing by route number for the fall 2009. Planned routes for this project are: 1-7, part of 13, 14 and 15, starting with route 15 on September 1. Flushing will be performed from 3:00 pm-9:00 pm, weekdays, and completion is estimated for mid-November.
Weekly updates will be provided here until the project is completed.
To determine what route number your street is on, please find your street on the following list.

During the flushing process, residents may experience low water pressure and rusty water. This is not an unsafe condition and is expected in most cases.  If your water becomes rusty, run your cold water faucet in the basement or lower level of your house until the water runs clear.  Do not run your hot water or do laundry until your water is clear.

If you experience on-going issues with rusty water and/or low water pressure, please call the Water Division at 781-316-3301.
