The race begins at 8:45 a.m., but runners are to be ready at 8:30 a.m. Visit the Arlington Boys and Girls Club website for registration form and additional details.

12:30PM – The Menotomy Minutemen along with re-enactors from all over New England will be recreating the Jason Russell House Battle starting at 12:30pm on Sunday, April 20. British troops will march down Massachusetts Avenue from Arlington High School while being harassed by Colonial minute companies. They will then attack the Minutemen defending Jason Russell and his home.

This re-enactment commemorates an event that took place on the afternoon of April 19th, 1775, as the British regulars retreated from Concord and Lexington. Even though the Regulars were going house-to-house to clear a safe path for their retreat, lame and aged Jason Russell refused to leave his home. Minutemen from as far away as Danvers had rallied to him. The British troops ultimately stormed and captured the house, killing Russell and the other defenders.

2:00 PM – The Patriots’ Day Parade – The parade starts at Appleton St & Mass. Ave. and runs east on Mass. Ave. to Walgreens in East Arlington. This year's participants include Middlesex Co. Volunteer Fifes & Drums, Waltham American Legion, Hot Tamale Brass Band, Liberty Jazz Band, Worcester Sound & Light Military Band Organ, 5th Massachusetts Battery (E) Inc., Colonial Piper's Bagpipe Band, St. Agnes Elementary School Marching Band, Boston City Band, Jumbalaya Jazz Band, Roma Band, Ancient Order of Hibernians Pipes & Drums, and Immaculate Heart of Mary Marching Band.

Monday April 21

7:30AM – A raising of the flag by The Menotomy Minutemen at The Town Hall Plaza.

8:00AM – A ceremony by The Menotomy Minutemen honoring the Patriots who died that day will be held at The Olde Burying located on Pleasant Street just off Massachusetts Avenue.
