H1N1 Vaccinations Planned for Peirce and Stratton Schools
The Department has received another small shipment of H1N1 vaccine and will be vaccinating students of two more Arlington elementary schools (Peirce and Stratton) during the week of November 30th. Parents will receive a letter from the school. To date the Board of Health has vaccinated the Thompson and Brackett schools.
H1N1 Vaccinations for Parents of Infants and Pregnant Women
Pregnant women and parents of babies under 6 months old will be vaccinated at an appointment-only clinic on Dec. 3rd. If you are a parent of a baby under 6 months old or are pregnant please call the Arlington Flu Clinic Hotline at 781-316-3413 and leave your name and telephone number. You will be given a call back with clinic information. Due to the limited supply of the vaccine, only individuals scheduled for this clinic will be vaccinated.
As vaccine arrives in larger quantities, the department will schedule a public clinic to target residents in all priority groups. Information about clinics will continue to be posted on the flu clinic hotline 781-316-3413 as well as the Town website: www.arlingtonma.gov/health.
You can also be alerted by email when public clinics are scheduled for priority groups by subscribing to Town of Arlington Notices online at arlingtonma.gov/subscriber.
