3. Communication
a.      35 Jason Street – S. Makowka (monitor) – the Commission denied all three of the applications last November’s meeting.  Denial letters were sent out the first of the month.
There is a need for an Executive Session at the end of this meeting to discuss developments.
b.      Conflict of Interest – S. Makowka reminded the Commissioners that State ethics rules in most cases prohibit commission members from representing anyone on
matters pending before the Commission even if he/she abstains from voting.  M. Penzenik requested clarification from Town Counsel and the Mass Ethics Commission
both of whom advised her that it would be inappropriate for her to work on or represent the applicant before the Commission regarding any work subject to commission review (i.e. exterior renovation, etc.).  As Special Municipal Employees, Commission members are not prohibited, in most cases, from representing individuals before other town bodies.
c.      New Homeowners – Y. Logan to give updated list
d.      New Preservation – None
