Cayer, Fields Appointed to Arlington Redevelopment Board
Arlington residents Michael Cayer and Ted Fields have been selected by Town Manager Brian Sullivan to fill vacancies on the Arlington Redevelopment Board.
Michael Cayer, a Town Meeting Member from precinct 12 for the past five years, has been general counsel to a number of private and public companies in the Boston area and currently advises several local technology companies on strategic corporate transactions and project management. Mr. Cayer looks forward to bringing his business experience and corporate legal perspective to the Board and to the important projects that are currently before it.
Ted Fields was recently appointed as the Community Development Coordinator for the Town of Framingham. He was previously with the City of Waltham for ten years, most recently as Assistant Planning Director, and has expertise in grant management, zoning analysis, public construction, digital mapping and master plan preparation. Mr. Fields lives in Arlington Heights with his wife and two children, and is a board member of Community Rowing Incorporated (CRI) in Boston.
Mr. Cayer and Mr. Fields fill vacancies created after Roland Chaput and Ed Tsoi decided not to seek reappointment after serving over 10 and 36 years, respectively. You can learn more about Arlington's Redevelopment board here.
