Free Weatherization Services Available
Eligible homeowners and tenants who are anticipating higher than average heating bills should be aware that help is available to tighten up their homes or apartments in order to stretch those fuel dollars. Using federal, State and Private funds, eligible households will be provided with a free energy audit and free weatherization work done by qualified, licensed and insured contractors.
Eligibility is based on gross family income. SSI and TAFDC recipients are categorically eligible no matter what the income.
