Dear Fellow Arlingtonians,
On behalf of our community, it gives us great pleasure to announce Town Day 2009, another exciting two days of music and family entertainment in Arlington. We invite you, your family and friends to join us and celebrate a community coming together with activities for all ages. This year’s Town Day 2009 celebration will take place on Friday, September 25, 2009, and Saturday, September 26, 2009 with rain dates of Friday, October 2, 2009, and Saturday, October 3, 2009.
The Town Day celebration is funded solely by people like you who play an important role in making our community a place of which to be proud. The success of this community celebration depends on the financial support of both our corporate and residential neighbors. It will provide an opportunity for you to get together to celebrate being a community.
Please help us make Town Day 2009 a success; more than ever your help is needed. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the multitude of events, which reflect the rich tradition of Arlington.

The 2009 Application Packet for booth space for non-food and food vendors is now available here.
Food vendors must also complete the application for a temporary food permit included in the packet.
Deadline for special requests for booth space location is July 10, 2009.
Deadline for booth space applications is July 17, 2009.
Town Night is September 25, 2009 starting at 5:30PM at the Spy Pond Field.
Town Night offers entertainment, children’s activities, food, and fireworks at dusk.
Town Day is September 26, 2009 from 10:00AM until 3:00PM.
Town Day takes place on Massachusetts Ave. from Pleasant Street to Mill Street.
There are booths offering craft exhibits, bake sales, educational displays, raffles, club membership information, games, food vendors, and other such “fair type” activities.
The rain date for Town Day is October 3, 2009. There is no rain date for Town Night.
