Dear Fellow Arlingtonians,
The Board of Selectmen and Arlington Town Day Committee would like to thank all participants, visitors, and vendors who helped make this past Town Day a tremendous success. We would like to also thank all of the individuals and businesses, which have graciously made contributions, both monetarily and in kind, to the Town Day Committee. Without your generosity, Town Day would not be such a great event.
Now mark you calendar for 2009!
Town Night is September 25, 2009 starting at 5:30PM at the Spy Pond Field.
Town Night offers entertainment, children’s activities, food, and fireworks at dusk.
Town Day is September 26, 2009 from 10:00AM until 3:00PM.
Town Day takes place on Massachusetts Ave. from Pleasant Street to Mill Street.
There are booths offering craft exhibits, bake sales, educational displays, raffles, club membership information, games, food vendors, and other such “fair type” activities.
The rain date for Town Day is October 3, 2009. There is no rain date for Town Night.
Kathleen Darcy and Marie Krepelka are Co-Chairs of the Town Day Committee.
