HEARING I - DOCKET NO.3334 - 89 MASS AVE- SPECIAL PERMIT

Attorney Carl Toumayan presented the petition for the petitioners in attendance, Randall Ferrell and Elizabeth Herman, as well as the owner under agreement, John Winslow. Mr Winslow is seeking permission to use the premises for professional offices in the location originally designed for one/two family use. A discussion regarding signage and parking issues ensued. It was determined that a Special Permit would be applied for if necessary for signage and parking spaces would be limited to 5. No one present spoke for or against the petition and the board voted unanimously to grant the Special Permits.

HEARING II – DOCKET NO.3333 – 22 FREEMAN ST – SPECIAL PERMIT

Attorney Robert Annese presented the petition for the petitioners in attendance, Tara and Samarjit. The petitioners are seeking permission to construct and addition to the dwelling in excess of 750 sf. With the intention of creating a two family dwelling in place of the existing one family dwelling in an R2 zone. Mr Annese stated that the existing garage would be demolished in order to satisfy parking requirements. Abutter Ruth Dunn spoke in favor of the petition. No one present spoke against the petition. The board voted unanimously tp grant the Special Permit.

HEARING III – DOCKET NO.3332 – 77 WARREN ST – SPECIAL PERMIT

Petitioner John Carney presented the petition requesting permission to create a second driveway for a new dwelling to be constructed in the future. Alternate plans and photographs were submitted as well as a letter of approval from the Historic Commission.
The board requested the petitioner to present plans for the future dwelling and speak with the Planning Department prior to a continued hearing on the matter scheduled for April 8, 2008 at 7:45PM in the 2nd floor Conference Room, Town Hall annex. Abutters Ronald and Esther Cunha spoke in favor of Mr Carney’s petition.
