Food Pantry and Heating Assistance Donations Sought
Donations to the Food Pantry and Heating Assistance programs are tax deductible and assist Arlington residents by providing them with much-needed food or with help paying their heating bills. Donations can be made online or by regular postal mail.

“Families are struggling to keep food on their tables and keep their homes warm,” says Christine Connolly, Director of Health and Human Services.  “Unemployment, higher gas prices and heating bills, combined with reductions in State’s fuel assistance funding, have increased the demand for these services. Arlington has a strong sense of community and we are truly grateful for the donations that keep both services in operation."

Anyone interested in sponsoring a food drive or a fund raiser for either the Food Pantry or the Heating Assistance program should contact the Department of Health and Human Services at 781-316-3170. You can also view this "How to Organize a Food Drive" packet.

Donations to these programs can be made online or by postal mail. Information can be found at:

All donations are appreciated and are used to purchase food and basic necessities for residents or to assist with paying residents’ heating bills.
