Please join us on Spy Pond, Arlington, for our 20th annual gathering to improve this scenic slice of public land so enjoyed by all. We’ll be main-taining access trails to the pond, pruning vistas, bagging litter, and controlling invasive plants. Meet some fun people, make an impact, try something new, and learn valuable tips for maintaining your own property.
Join us for as little or as much as you like. Trails Day qualifies as a community service project. Participants should bring sturdy footwear, work clothes, a hat, sunscreen, and rain gear. Pruning tools are also helpful. Liability waivers will be available and must be signed by all participants (under 18 need approval from—and are preferably accompanied by—a parent or guardian).
Equipment and snacks provided, but please pack your own lunch. Hosted by the Spy Pond Committee (volunteers working in partnership with the town of Arlington), the Appalachian Mountain Club, and other civic groups.
