The Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) and our consultant, Stantec, are excited to invite you to the kick-off event for the Arlington AmpUp! Comprehensive Plan Update (formerly known as the master plan). This public planning process seeks input from residents, business owners, community organizations, etc. to begin visualizing ways to make Arlington an even better place to live, work, and play.
The current plan was adopted in 2015 and much has changed since then. The comprehensive plan will serve as a guide for land use and development decisions over the next ten years. Wewant to hear from you about:
• Arlington’s strengths, opportunities, and challenges
• Vision and goals for the future of Arlington
• Important issues to explore further
What to expect at the meeting: A presentation about the collaborative planning process and key trends influencing Arlington, followed by small group discussions. This is the first in a series of events designed to share information and hear from as many people as possible to inform this community plan.
Please note you should enter through the main entrance on Mass. Ave., then proceed straight and down the stairway to the cafeteria.
