The Arlington Affordable Housing Trust - RFQ Working Group will be meeting to discuss steps for drafting a Request for Qualifications to identify developers interested in working with the Town to create mission-aligned affordable housing.
This implementation strategy for creating more affordable housing is more thoroughly explained in the Trust's 5-year Action Plan and will both allow the Trust to hear from developers about the opportunities and challenges to development in Arlington and provide a visible way to communicate to the development community that Arlington wants to work with developers to create the conditions necessary to create affordable housing. Identifying potential development partners will also better position the Trust to act quickly when acquisition or development opportunities are identified.
