Post Date:02/27/2020 2:00 PM

DPW is pleased to announce that the Food Scrap Diversion program is going strong! Over 450 residents are signed up for food scrap drop off with the FEED FiDO program (free!) and 300+ residents have signed up for curbside subscription services ($$) since October, joining the estimated 1,200 who were already using these service.

These number show a lot of interest and enthusiasm, and we suspect this growing participation is showing up in our reduced trash tonnage numbers.

Thank You if you are already helping to reduce your household trash.

If you are not yet trying this method of reducing your trash by up to 30% (yes, that's how much of our trash is food scraps!) then we encourage you to sign up for one of these programs now. Curbside customers receive a free started kit from the town, only 200 left- Find out how to start diverting your food scraps!
