Household Hazardous Waste collection events now require registration and include COVID-19 restrictions.

Events run 9 AM to 2 PM.
Important Guidelines Include:
- Hazardous materials will ONLY be accepted from trunks, the backs of SUV’s and backs of pick up trucks
- DO NOT exit your vehicle
- Face coverings are MANDATORY
- Do NOT roll down vehicle windows
- A MA drivers license, state ID or household utility bill MUST be available and held up to window
- NO containers will be returned, such as crates and tubs used to place HHW containers in your car. Cardboard boxes are therefore recommended.

Residents can help keep the environment clear of toxic chemicals by bringing households hazardous waste items to special collections. Full list of acceptable materials
There is no direct fee for residents, however the Town is charged per carload.
Please keep all chemicals in their original packaging for the health and safety of you and the Clean Harbors staff.
Events are expected to be crowded. There are no bathrooms on the site and it will be difficult to leave once you are in line. If you have a very small amount of HHW and can wait, you may want to wait and attend a future event.
