Been wondering how to get rid of that honking TV in your basement? We can help!
The DPW Recycling Center has weekday appointments for Arlington residents to drop off TVs, computers, and all kinds of other electronic waste. Some fees apply.
The Recycling Center and recycling offices have moved to 33 Ryder Street. Since we are not always on site, we have set up appointments for drop offs (ewaste) as well as pick ups (food scrap diversion kits, compost bins, sink-side scrap buckets) so that residents can conveniently access our services.
Make an appointment here or read more on the Recycling Center page which further explains what we can accept and what the fees are.
Why drop off your TV?
State law and Town policy prevent TVs from being collected as household trash. The same is true for computer screens.
Also, it's less expensive than having a TV or monitor picked up at the curb, but if that's the service you need, email JRM at customerservice@jrmhauling.com, and provide them your phone number to call you, take payment over the phone, and make a pick up appointment.
