Arlington Recreation would like to provide the following update on several playground and park renovations around town. Those playgrounds include Bishop, Stratton, Peirce, and in part, Parmenter.

Below is a list of ongoing renovations and a brief status. To view additional information on each project, click their respective link.

Peirce Playground – Open with rubber installation planned summer 2023
Spy Pond Playground – Opening is weather dependent may be late 2022 or in 2023
Parmenter Playground – Opening is weather dependent may be late 2022 or in 2023
Hurd Field – reopen next season
Robbins Farm Playground – First public meeting held on November 14, 2022 and a second public meeting is planned for December 19 at 6:00 p.m. Register for this meeting.

Playground inspections are completed for Buzzell Playground, Hibbert Playground, and Summer Street/Hills Hill Playground. Repairs have been made to all three playgrounds with final repairs being made to Hibbert in December.
