Snow Contractors Wanted for the 2025/2026 Season

Guaranteed earning incentives are being offered, apply today.

The Town of Arlington’s Department of Public Works is in the process of hiring contractors for snow plowing and snow removal services for the upcoming 2025/2026 winter season.

The Town hires:

¾ and 1 ton pick-ups and dumps minimum 8’ plow blade

6 and 10 wheel 32 GVW trucks minimum 10’ plow

6-wheel dumps with 10’ plow and 5–7-yard sander

Front end loaders minimum 12’ plow

Backhoes with 10’ plow

For hauling the Town hires:

6-wheel,10-wheel, and tri-axle dumps

Skid steers

Front end loaders with minimum 3-yard bucket

In addition, Arlington offers a Guaranteed Earnings incentive. The Town will guarantee minimum total earnings of $3,500.

Per this incentive, if it does not snow, each contracted vehicle will still earn $3,500. If a contracted vehicle reports to all requested storm events but only earns $2,000, the Town will provide an additional $1,500 payment at the end of the year to total $3,500. If a contracted vehicle earns over $3,500, no additional payment form the Town will be made.

The total guaranteed amount is contingent on 100% attendance to all requested storm events. Reductions in the incentive will result for storms missed. Additional info will be included in the final contract.
