Post Date:06/13/2025 12:18 PM

Arlington Reservoir Beach will be open for swimming and beach recreation starting June 16th through August 22nd. Weather permitting, the beach will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. daily.

Visitors can enjoy a recently renovated Reservoir Beach including a bath house, snack bar, picnic pavilion, playground, filtered/chlorinated swimming & water play area, sport court, lawn areas, a walking path around the Reservoir, and paved parking lot with full ADA access.

Located on Lowell Street in Arlington Heights, the beach is supervised by certified lifeguards and other beach staff while open during the summer season.

Mobi-Chairs permit assisted access into the water. Arlington Recreation Department in partnership with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division (DEI) secured funding through the Disability Commission's budget for two floating beach wheelchairs for use at Reservoir Beach. Interested residents may request to use one of the Mobi-Chairs with Recreation staff at the Reservoir.

This year Recreation is rolling out its new digital season passes, which may be purchased online or in person at the Recreation Office (17 Irving Street). Digital Memberships are per-person and non-transferable; they may be printed out or saved on a phone for easy scanning.

Day passes will continue to be available for purchase at the gate. Admission is $10/adult, $5/child 2yrs and older, $5/senior.
