Poets Corner Playground Closed

Play structure deemed unsafe, Park and Recreation Commission will review next steps.

The play structure at Poets Corner has been deemed unsafe by our Playground Safety Inspector. Caution tape has been placed around the play structure and temporary fencing will be installed on Thursday. The Recreation Department will be working with Public Works in the coming weeks to remove the equipment. The Park and Recreation Commission will review their Capital Improvement Plans at an upcoming meeting to discuss the concerns with Poets and possible next steps for this recreational area.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We invite regular visitors of this park to visit one of Arlington’s other playgrounds around town. A full list may be found at arlingtonma.gov/parks.
