COA Parking Permit Stickers for Age 65+

Benefits of the COA Parking Permit Program 

• COA Parking Sticker entitles the sticker-holder to park for FREE in Arlington at metered parking spots and in municipal parking lots, up to the maximum time posted on the meter (4 hours). 
• COA Parking Sticker entitles the sticker-holder to park along Maple Street or Academy Street while in the Community Center for COA Programming or Appointments.  4-hour maximum time limit on Academy Street will not be enforced. 

There are ONLY two options for getting your parking sticker:

• Apply online at https://tinyurl.com/COAParking .  Stickers take approximately 3 weeks to reach you.
• Apply in person any Thursday between 3pm-6pm ONLY at Senior Center/ Arlington Community Center, 27 Maple Street, Ground Floor
• If you come in person outside of Thursdays 3pm-6pm, you will be asked to come back during the designated time.  We will not have access to stickers during any other time of the week.  We have no flexibility on this and will have to turn you away if you come at a different time  

What do you need to apply?  

• Copy of your vehicle's registration showing your Arlington Address
• Photo ID showing your Arlington Address

Key Information

• This is a pilot program and will be conducted as a trial for 2 years.  If the Select Board votes to continue this program after two years, you will keep the same sticker.
• This program was approved by the Select Board for Arlington Residents AGE 65+ ONLY at this time.
• Maximum of one sticker per household will be given, for one vehicle.
• You will receive all information on rules and guidelines of the program when you apply.
• Stickers must be replaced if you get a new car or if your sticker is damaged.  We are happy to replace and reissue a new sticker if needed.  The Senior Parking Permit Guidelines state that the old sticker should be peeled off and returned to us.  We understand returning the sticker may not be possible under some circumstances.
