Original Notice:

The Town of Arlington, through its contractor Antonellis Construction Inc., will be completing construction work to install new ADA compliant curb ramps at various locations throughout Town that currently lack curb ramps or have non-compliant ramps. Work will begin the week of September 29th and is anticipated to last through the end of the construction season in November. Initial work locations are listed below, though additional locations are anticipated as the project progresses.

  • Jason Street at the intersections of Gray Street and Irving Street
  • Brooks Avenue - all intersections from Egerton Road to Varnum Street

During work, sections of sidewalk will temporarily be closed to sidewalk users as the new curb ramps are constructed. Users are requested to adhere to construction signage, including temporary sidewalk detours. It is anticipated that work will last 1-2 weeks at each project location, though it is possible the work may take longer based on existing sidewalk/curb conditions, scope of work at each location, and weather impacts.
