DPW will be moving some donation bins from Ryder Street to 51 Grove Street, the new DPW building, on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
This move may be temporary for the winter or ongoing.
These donations bins can be found in the back parking lot behind the new DPW building at 51 Grove Street. They will be accessible 24/7.
Textile Bins (Bay State Textiles and Helpsy)
- Drop off clothing, shoes, and linens (sheets and towels) inside the containers.
- All items must be clean and dry.
- All items must be in paper or plastic bags.
- If the bins are full we ask that resident return at another time. Never leave items on the ground. This would be illegal dumping and police will take notice.
- Residents may still drop off textiles at appointments at the Reuse & Recycle Center, however there are no 24/7 collection bins at this location.
Books and Digital Media Bin (More Than Words)
- Books and professionally recorded video games, CDs and DVDs can be donated 24/7
- Residents may still drop off these items at appointments at the Reuse & Recycle Center, however there are no 24/7 collection bins at this location.
