The annual Town census has mailed. Please fill out and return it by mail, in person or by depositing it in one of our ballot drop boxes, which you can find in front of the Town Hall, the Fox Library or ACMI in the Heights. No stamp is needed if depositing census forms in a drop box.

Please be aware that because of an error at the printing house, a small number of existing residents will receive a blank census form addressed to “Vacant Household.” If you receive one, please fill in your family’s details and return it to us. Likewise, you may also receive your own census form and a form for a non-existent apartment number (Unit 1). If you receive these, please write “Not an address” and return it along with your own form, so we can remove these addresses from the system.

Registered voters who do not return the census will become inactive and may need to complete a form the next time they vote.  

The census mailing includes information about elections in 2026, including a form that allows all members of the household to request a mailed ballot for the Town Election scheduled on Saturday, March 28th. The Town will not be mailing a separate postcard application. 

An invitation for residents to take the Envision Arlington Annual Town Survey, is also included and residents age 15 and older are invited to take it by February 13th.
