The Arlington Police Department is proud to welcome Animal Control Officer Michelle Parsons to our department.
ACO Parsons graduated as the Valedictorian of the Animal
Control Officer of Massachusetts Academy in 2025. She brings on the job experience, exceptional expertise, and dedication to her role. ACO Parsons is a Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator and holds certifications in animal first aid and CPR, ensuring she is well prepared to respond to a wide range of animal-related situations within the community.
In addition to her professional achievements, ACO Parsons is an active member of several prominent organizations, including the Massachusetts Animal Coalition, the Massachusetts Animal Control Officers Association, and the Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of Massachusetts. Her involvement reflects a strong commitment to animal welfare, continued professional development, and community service.
The Arlington Police Department is pleased to welcome ACO Parsons to Arlington and invites the public to attend a meet-and-greet with her on Wednesday, January 21st, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Police Department. This will be a great opportunity for residents to meet ACO Parsons in person and learn more about her role within the community.
We are confident that Animal Control Officer Michelle Parsons will serve both the residents and animals of Arlington with dedication, professionalism, and excellence.
