The Town of Arlington is updating Arlington Community Electricity (ACE) so that eligible low-income customers (Eversource R2, R4, and R2HP rate classes) are enrolled in Arlington Basic as the default option. Eligible low-income customers currently enrolled in ACE Local Green will be moved to Arlington Basic after a notice is mailed in early March. The new price will appear on electric bills for usage from the March–April 2026 meter read, which most customers will receive in April 2026. Going forward, eligible low-income customers who open a new account in Arlington will be automatically enrolled in Arlington Basic unless they choose another ACE product or opt out.
