On Monday, May 6th, close to 50 students and the Arlington School Sustainability Coordinator, Rachel Oliveri, were honored at the State House with a Secretary's Award for Excellence in Energy & Environmental Education. Some of these students had the opportunity to meet with State Senator Cindy Friedman to advocate for increased awareness and action around waste reduction, climate change, and environmental education. Congratulations to all the environmental leaders at the Arlington Public Schools!
