MIT Students Release Final Report on Broadway Corridor
During the fall 2019 semester, a group of MIT Students from the School of Architecture and Planning studied the Broadway Corridor, between Rawson Road and the municipal boundary with Somerville, via an invitation from the Department of Planning and Community Development. The students collected ideas to address its current and future needs and formulated recommendations. The planning work will serve to inform town officials and representatives more thoroughly on the potential future of the Broadway corridor, though the suggestions are not binding.
During the fall, the students hosted a public meeting on October 28, 2019, where they invited community members' thoughts and vision for the Broadway corridor. View the presentation.
At the ARB's December 2, 2019, meeting, the students presented their findings to the ARB and the community. View the presentation.
