Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Health and Human Services is to protect the health of the public and assist residents with accessing basic human needs. Health and Human Services includes the following divisions and programs:

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Veterans Service
Community Resource Services
Health and Human Services works with the following boards and commissions: Board of Health, Board of Youth Services, Council on Aging, Disability Commission, Human Rights Commission, LGBTQI+ Rainbow Commission, Veterans Council, and Arlington Youth Health & Safety Coalition (AYHSC).
