The Arlington Youth Counseling Center (AYCC) is a licensed, community-based mental health counseling center serving Arlington youth (ages 3-21) and their families. AYCC provides a variety of high quality, innovative, and therapeutic outpatient and school-based mental health services including individual, group, and family counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication management. AYCC accepts most major health insurance plans, and offers grant funding to income-eligible families who are uninsured or underinsured.
Through local grants and other fundraising initiatives, AYCC also provides case management services to residents with basic resource needs (housing, food, fuel assistance, health insurance coverage etc.), and offers support groups to identified at-risk populations, including survivors of domestic violence, substance-involved youth, and youth on the autism spectrum.
AYCC is committed to promoting and supporting the social and emotional wellbeing of all Arlington's youth and families, regardless of ability to pay.
Would you or someone you know benefit from AYCC's services? To speak to someone at AYCC, or to schedule an intake, please contact 781-316-3255. To complete an intake form, please click here.

Thank You Cummings Foundation!
AYCC is proud to be the twice-recipient of a Cummings Foundation $100K for a 100 grant, awarded in 2015 and again in 2019. For more information about the Cummings Foundation, please visit the website www.CummingsFoundation.org.
This is a great piece on NPR about mental health problems in schools. Fortunately, in Arlington, the Arlington Public Schools partner closely with AYCC to identify and help children in need.
