In preparation for the Plan update, the Arlington Redevelopment Board (ARB) approved the Advisory Committee on May 20, 2024. The AmpUp! Comprehensive Plan Update Advisory Committee consists of 15 Arlington residents representing a mix of homeowners, renters, local business owners, long-time residents, and newer residents, reflecting the various populations within our Town. Two of the committee members are also representatives of the Redevelopment Board, which will oversee the Update process. The Committee will help guide our community outreach efforts as we begin outlining the needs and goals of the Town to carry us into 2036.
The Committee's first task was to select a Consultant responsible for generating content, providing input on best practices, and leading community participation sessions. The AmpUp! Advisory Committee is pleased to announce that Stantec Consulting Services has been selected to guide us through the comprehensive planning process!

Information on the Request for Proposals for a Consultant
On September 23, 2024, the Committee received a total of six proposals in response to the Request For Proposals (RFP) for a Consultant. A Selection Committee made up of the Director of DPCD, the ARB's two representatives to the Committee, and four additional Committee members were chosen to evaluate the proposals based on the Town's RFP Evaluation Criteria. The Selection Committee ultimately decided on Stantec Consulting Services.
