Legislative Acts Affecting the Town

Changes to the Town Bylaws and Zoning Bylaws were passed by the 2025 Annual Town Meeting earlier this year. The Attorney General has approved the Town Bylaws amendments to go effect on October 9, 2025. You can read an overview of the changes that have been approved and find links to the full text of the changes.

All but two of the Zoning Bylaw changes have been approved. The last two are still being reviewed and we expect a response by October 23, 2025. You can read an overview of the zoning changes that have been approved and find links to the full text of the changes.
